Real Madrid have done a great job when it comes to identifying and signing some of the best talents from all around the world. Their transfer policy has undergone a drastic change in recent years. The likes of Eduardo Camavinga, Fede Valverde, Vinicius Jr, Rodrygo, Jude Bellingham and Arda Guler were all brought in as teenagers. On the other hand, they have already agreed a deal for Endrick, the Brazilian wonderkid who has earned comparisons to Ronaldo Nazario.
The club are being linked with one of the most highly-rated young talents in Spanish football right now. But city rivals, Atletico Madrid, seem to have an eye on the youngster as well.
The player in question is Getafe’s Santi Garcia. The 21-year-old made his long-awaited debut in La Liga last weekend after being a standout at the youth and developmental levels for a long time.
As reported by MARCA, after an excellent pre-season, Garcia has received several calls asking about him. Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid met with Jorge Mendes’ entourage. They want to follow his progression.
