Many players have been let go of by Real Madrid since the summer transfer window began, in accordance with the club’s vision for the future. From long-time stars like Karim Benzema and Marco Asensio to youngsters like Carlos Dotor and Sergio Arribas, all have parted ways with Los Blancos this summer.

Another player who is in contention to leave the club this summer is Reinier Jesus. The 21-year-old Brazilian is seemingly not in the plans right now, as he was not even included in the pre-season tour of the United States.

The Brazilian was signed by Real Madrid for a transfer fee around €30 million from Flamengo in 2020. While other youngsters like Vinicius Junior and Rodrygo have gone on to become superstars, Reinier’s career has played out very differently.

Reinier got loaned out to Borussia Dortmund and the Brazilian scored only one goal in his two seasons at the German club. Last season, he was again sent out on a temporary basis, this time to Girona in La Liga itself but he failed to deliver again.

This season, Reinier’s expected destination seemed to be Girona once again, but that move has not materialised. This has left the Brazilian in a difficult position.

As reported by AS, Real Madrid continue to wait for offers for Reinier, but they do not arrive. On the other hand, the youngster is training alone in Valdebebas.

It looks like Real Madrid are still hoping for an offer to arrive for the Brazilian before the transfer window closes. At the end of the day, that is the only thing that they can do in this situation.

Reinier has not even made his debut for Real Madrid yet. And at this rate, it might never come. That being said, the 21-year-old Brazilian ace does have a contract that runs until the summer of 2026.
