Real Madrid find themselves in a very difficult situation right now following a string of injuries at the very start of the season. It began with Arda Guler, who picked up an issue in pre-season itself and had to undergo surgery. Then Thibaut Courtois and Eder Militao suffered torn ACLs in quick succession. And now, it looks like Vinicius Jr looks set to be out of action for several weeks as well.

It has been confirmed that Vinicius suffered an injury to the right biceps femoris muscle. Rumours have suggested that he could be out for around six weeks and will miss quite a few important games during that period of time.

Even more importantly for Real Madrid, they do not have options going forward. With Vinicius out of action, it is hard to see a consistent source of goals other than Jude Bellingham.

So, the club must consider the possibility of signing a forward in the last few days of the summer transfer window. And as tweeted out by Jose Manuel Moreno, at Real Madrid they do not rule out the signing of Dusan Vlahovic.

Vlahovic is a player Real Madrid have been linked with for quite some time now. He finds himself in an interesting situation at Juventus at the moment.

There is no question about his quality, but the Serbian has struggled to find his best in Turin. There is a feeling that Massimiliano Allegri’s style of football just does not suit Vlahovic.

Someone like Vlahovic could actually be a pretty good signing for Real Madrid in the long run. But at the same time, it is hard to imagine that the club would make a move of that magnitude this late in the window despite of their injury struggles at the moment.
