Real Madrid’s summer transfer window has raised a lot of eyebrows. The club made a quick start by signing Jude Bellingham, Fran Garcia and Joselu. Then they brought in Arda Guler as well, even though Barcelona had seemed to be on the verge of getting a deal done for the Turkish wonderkid. After that, Los Blancos seemed to be quite content with the squad that they had assembled.

They did end up making a season-long loan move for Kepa Arrizabalaga later on in the window. But even that was because of Thibaut Courtois’ ACL injury, which could keep him out for the rest of the season.

Thus, most fans believed that Real Madrid needed to make more signings this summer. But there is no doubt about that Bellingham has come in and made a huge difference to this team.

Most people expected to be a great signing. But nobody believed that he would adapt to life at Real Madrid. It feels like he has been playing for Los Blancos for a decade, the way he has started this campaign.

Fabrizio Romano makes superb Real Madrid transfer claim

As reported by CaughtOffside, regarding his top five summer transfers, Fabrizio Romano wrote in his exclusive CaughtOffside Substack:

"‘Jude Bellingham to Real Madrid. I think he’s an incredible addition for Real Madrid, a fantastic player. They paid big money yes, but he’s a player for the present and future, and his impact on La Liga has been insane.’"

It is safe to say that Bellingham has been brilliant ever since coming in. He scored four times in his first three competitive games for Real Madrid.

With Vinicius Junior out injured for the foreseeable future, Bellingham might be the best source of goals that the club have right now despite him playing in the number 10 role. It is not just about now though. The Englishman is just 20 years of age and if he can continue to perform like this, he could be a Ballon d’Or contender in the future and potentially the best midfielder of his generation as well.
