Jude Bellingham is an absolute superstar. The Englishman might have arrived at Real Madrid just this summer and it is also important to remember that he is only 20 years of age. But he already seems to be guiding this team. He has already scored in each of his first four games for Los Blancos, five times in total, and he seems to have a penchant for rising up to the occasion.
With 94 minutes gone, it looked like Real Madrid were all but certain to drop their first points this season. They were drawing 1-1 against Getafe and were missing a number of key players through injury.
But then, in the 95th minute, it was Bellingham who managed to put Real Madrid 2-1 ahead and seal all three points for Carlo Ancelotti’s team. It was an incredible moment to say the very least and one which could prove to be vital come the end of the season.
It is safe to say that the Santiago Bernabeu crowd appreciated Bellingham for his efforts. The supporters even sang the iconic ‘Hey Jude’ after the winner.
Bellingham sends beautiful message to Real Madrid fans
Bellingham seems to have been blown away by the events of the game and the support he received from the fans afterwards. As reported by GOAL, he told the club’s media:
"“At the moment of the goal was the loudest I have ever heard on a football field.“When they sang ‘Hey Jude’ at the end, I got goosebumps. I just wanted to turn and stand still and listen to it while my legs were shaking.”"
Bellingham is a fantastic player to say the very least. He already has five goals to his name in a Real Madrid shirt, after just four games. Those are incredible numbers and in the process, he has equalled a record set by Cristiano Ronaldo, of scoring in each of his first four Spanish top-flight matches for Los Blancos.
It is just the beginning of the journey for Bellingham though. He is incredibly still just 20 years of age. The sky is the limit for the English international. Even that might be an understatement when you think about it.
