Carlo Ancelotti deserves more credit than he gets for the job that he has done at Real Madrid since returning to the club in 2021. The Italian has guided them to every trophy possible over the course of the past two seasons and Los Blancos currently sit at the top of the La Liga table, having won all four of their league games till now in the ongoing campaign.

What makes this run even more impressive is the fact that Real Madrid do not have much depth at all and are missing several key players through injury on top of that. Ancelotti has not been dealt the best hand but he has certainly made the most of it.

Despite this, the expectation is that Ancelotti will leave at the end of this season when his contract runs out. And he has been heavily linked with the Brazil national team job.

Ancelotti has done everything as a manager in club football. But he has never managed a national team, and would be expected to do well. In fact, Neymar seems pretty open to the idea.

As reported by ge.globo, Neymar said about the potential appointment of Ancelotti as the Brazilian national team manager:

"“I’m talking here, but I don’t know anything, I’ve never spoken to the president or anyone. If it is Ancelotti, he will be very well received, he is a renowned guy, who has won everything in his career.”"

It remains to be seen what the future holds for Ancelotti. It is not hard to see why the possibility of managing Brazil could be exciting for him.

He is 64 years of age and has achieved everything that is there to achieve in club football, in leagues across Europe. On the other hand, Brazil have been searching for a World Cup for a long time now, having won their last one back in 2002. They have not really come close since then. Could Ancelotti be the man to finally guide them back to the top?
