Real Madrid did not make too many signings this summer. But they appear to have made very good ones nonetheless. Los Blancos have always been believers in quality over quantity. Of course, the standout addition has been Jude Bellingham, who already seems to be the face of the team.

Bellingham has scored five goals in his first four games for Real Madrid. The only other player to do that is a certain Cristiano Ronaldo.

While Bellingham has been grabbing all the headlines, another summer addition has gone under the radar. It is none other than Arda Guler and that is largely due to the injury he picked up in pre-season, resulting in him having to undergo surgery.

Guler was signed from Fenerbahce for a transfer fee believed to be around €20 million. He made quite the early impression in training with Real Madrid as well and it is unfortunate that we have not gotten to see him in the Royal White jersey yet.

As reported by Defensa Central (via The Hard Tackle), Sevilla are interested in Guler. They are keen on strengthening their squad in the January transfer window after a bad start to the season and the Real Madrid youngster is a short-term option for a loan move.

Should Real Madrid consider letting Guler go out on loan? Of course, that will depend on how he performs for the club once he is fit to get back on the pitch. There have been suggestions that he could be available for selection in late September.

If Guler is able to perform at a high level for the senior team, it would be worth keeping him around. Real Madrid do not have too many options in the first place. But if there is the feeling that he could do with a spell out on loan, then Sevilla could be a good destination for the Turkish wonderkid.
