Real Madrid need to add to their forward line sooner or later. At the moment, they are pretty thin up front. Rodrygo and Joselu are the only two players they have available, and the latter is only on a season-long loan from Espanyol. That is not a good situation to be in, especially just four games into the new campaign and one can only wonder what things will look like months down the line when fatigue will start to take its toll.

This is going to be a very difficult season for Carlo Ancelotti’s team and the Italian manager has not been dealt a great hand by the club. One can only hope that the squad is strengthened in the future.

One player who has been linked with a potential move to Real Madrid in recent times is Khvicha Kvaratskhelia. The Georgian international has been a sensation since joining Napoli last season.

And it looks like the door to a move to Real Madrid in the future is pretty much open. As reported by ESPN, Mamuka Jugeli, Kvaratskhelia’s representative, said in an interview with Calcio Napoli:

"“When Kvara is ready to play for Real Madrid or Barcelona it will be evaluated in the future.”"

Kvaratskhelia has been a revelation ever since joining Napoli. But at the same time, there are areas where he can still improve.

For example, he needs to be more consistent. His form towards the end of last season was not great at all. But then again, he is just 22 years of age and has plenty of time on his hands to get even better.

There is no question about the talent and potential of Kvaratshkelia. He can be at Real Madrid one day for sure. But for now, Napoli might be the best place for him to develop and improve, before considering a move of that magnitude.
