Real Madrid find themselves in a very interesting situation right now. They have undeniable quality in this squad. After all, despite having so many key players out injured, they have won all four of their games this season till now and sit at the top of the La Liga table. But unfortunately, there simply is not enough depth.

So, it will be interesting to see if Real Madrid are able to maintain their early form. We saw something similar happen last season when they faded away badly after the first few months of the season.

There are some players who do not appear to have a long-term future at Real Madrid. Ferland Mendy appears to fall under that category.

As reported by Defensa Central (via The Hard Tackle), Mendy does not have much time left as a Real Madrid player. The club will look for a €30 million transfer fee to part ways with the Frenchman.

It will be interesting to see if clubs are ready to shell out a €30 million transfer fee for Mendy. The Frenchman has been on the decline for some time now.

There were always question marks about his game going forward. And he simply has not been able to remain fit for any considerable length of time.

Mendy dealt with several injury problems last season, which led to Eduardo Camavinga playing at left-back for several games. And this time around, the 28-year-old picked up an injury in pre-season and is yet to return to action.

On the other hand, there have been rumours that Real Madrid want to sign Alphonso Davies from Bayern Munich next summer. So, it is not hard to understand why the club might be ready to part ways with Mendy. Let’s see if an exit materialises or not.
