Real Madrid have been chasing the signature of Kylian Mbappe for years now but a move is yet to materialise. That could change in the near future. The French World Cup winner’s current deal runs out in the summer of 2024. And while the idea of him signing a new deal with PSG has not been completely ruled out, it does feel that his most likely destination is Santiago Bernabeu.

Of course, PSG have already seen stalwarts like Lionel Messi and Neymar leave. And if Mbappe was to join them, the club would need a serious squad rebuild.

While Mbappe is a transfer target for Real Madrid, it looks like PSG have quite a few of Los Blancos’ players in their sights as well. As many as five of them.

As reported by OKDiario (via SPORT), PSG already have the names of five Real Madrid players on their radar. Vinicius Junior and Rodrygo are the top priorities. They would welcome the arrival of players of the calibre of Aurelien Tchouameni, Eduardo Camavinga or Fede Valverde as well, following the departure of Marco Verratti.

Fans with a keen memory will remember how Barcelona had tried to sign Verratti several years back. They failed to do so. Instead, it was PSG who ended up signing Neymar in a world-record move that stands to this day. Could they try something similar this time as well?

It is hard to imagine that Real Madrid would consider letting any of those five leave. They are key parts of the first-team. On the other hand, Los Blancos do not have much depth where they could afford to let starters go.

The relationship between Real Madrid and PSG is rumoured to be frosty as well. That could make any transfer negotiations between the two clubs difficult.
