Jude Bellingham’s Real Madrid career has been up and running since his arrival this summer. The 20-year-old Englishman is already a pivotal player for Los Blancos and has also established himself as a fan favourite at the Santiago Bernabeu despite having played just four matches for Carlo Ancelotti’s side so far.

His match-winning performances for Real Madrid have rightfully received a lot of praise from all around. The English international’s start to the season has been sensational and he has already scored 5 goals in 4 games, equalling one of Cristiano Ronaldo’s records in the process.

Gareth Bale is another Brit who had a fairytale first season at Real Madrid. He helped the club win the long-desired La Decima, scoring the goal that gave them the lead against Atletico Madrid in that Champions League final. He also scored the winner against Barcelona in the Copa del Rey final the same year.

Although Bale’s last few seasons at the club were ones to forget it does not take away anything from what the Welshman achieved at and contributed to Real Madrid. He has to be regarded as a legend of the game.

As reported by Tribuna, Bale said about Bellingham while speaking to Sky Sports:

"“I haven’t seen a lot, but he has made a great start, scoring a lot of goals which is important at a club like Madrid. He’s doing well. I hope he keeps on going and makes Britain proud.“Ballon d’Or? Just like I said, If he continues working hard and do what he’s doing, the sky is the limit for him”"

Bellingham has scored 5 goals in his first 4 matches for Real Madrid, most of which were decisive in nature. The way he has gelled with his teammates in this short span of time makes it look like he has been at the club for years.

It has only been Bellingham’s first couple of months in the Spanish capital and it is hard for one to speculate on the youngster’s future. But if he continues to develop and perform at a high level, winning the Ballon d’Or might not be a distant dream for him.
