Real Madrid do not have much depth when it comes to the forward areas, and they have been further reduced due to injuries. Vinicius Junior picked up an injury in the game against Celta Vigo last month and has been out of action since then. To be fair, Joselu has done a good job of replacing the Brazilian, scoring twice and assisting once in his past three appearances.

Real Madrid fans will be hoping that the club strengthen their forward ranks as soon as possible. But unfortunately, their players are drawing interest at the same time.

Mohamed Salah has been linked with a move away from Liverpool recently with Al-Ittihad appearing to be interested in the Egyptian icon. It is believed that a €150 million offer was turned down in the summer. Rumours continue to swirl around his future. And the Reds could look towards Santiago Bernabeu in search of his possible replacement.

As reported by Fichajes, Liverpool has joined the list of clubs interested in Rodrygo. The Premier League giants’ sports management sees the Brazilian winger as an ideal candidate to strengthen the team in case Salah leaves.

Of course, signing Rodrygo would not be simple for Liverpool. It is unlikely that Real Madrid would consider letting the Brazilian winger go unless an exceptional offer arrives on their table.

It remains to be seen if Liverpool do end up making a move for him. Ultimately, it might come down to Salah and what he decides to do moving forward.

The best case scenario would be for Real Madrid to keep Rodrygo at the club. He still has a ton of untapped potential and if he can find consistency, he might very well be one of the best players in the world.
