Juventus have been on a rollercoaster ride over the last few years. It is easy to forget that not too long ago, they were completely dominating Serie A and had won the league nine years in a row. But now, they seem a long distance away from those heights and would have done well to even put up a title challenge anytime soon. Could a Real Madrid veteran help them in doing that?

Real Madrid do not have much depth in their squad at the moment, especially in certain positions. One of them is right-back.

With Dani Carvajal unavailable, Lucas Vazquez has come straight into the starting XI of Carlo Ancelotti’s team. And it seems like the 32-year-old is being eyed by Juventus.

As reported by Fichajes, Juventus remain interested in signing Vazquez for next season. There is the possibility of first contact between both parties to reinforce the defensive plot of the Italian team.

Vazquez has played most of his football at right-back in recent years but that is not considered to be his natural position. The Spaniard is actually a winger. Of course, that sort of versatility will only make him more attractive to a club like Juventus.

Vazquez might have never really been a nailed-on starter for Real Madrid, but that has not stopped him from making more than 300 appearances for arguably the biggest club in the world. So, he unquestionably has a ton of experience under his belt of playing at the highest level.

At 32 years of age, Vazquez does not have a lot of football left in the tank. So one woul understand if he wanted to leave Real Madrid and try a different experience, at a club where he would get the chance to play more regular football.
