It is no secret that Real Madrid need reinforcements up top as soon as possible. They never properly replaced Karim Benzema in the summer. Joselu deserves immense credit for the job that he has done till now, scoring consistently and proving a lot of doubters wrong. But he is the only option the club have at centre-forward right now.

Most fans would prefer for Real Madrid to sign a proven world-class striker. They were linked with names like Harry Kane, Dusan Vlahovic, Randal Kolo Muani and more over the summer.

But Real Madrid have tended to sign high-potential youngsters in recent years. And it looks like they have their eyes set on one of Borussia Dortmund’s brightest talents.

According to Bild information (via TZ), Real Madrid now want to get serious and plan an offer to Borussia Dortmund for Youssoufa Moukoko. Los Blancos would apparently have to put a package of at least €35 million to €40 million on the table to sign the German international.

Moukoko was considered the biggest talent in German football not too long ago. He was scoring almost two goals a game at the youth level for Borussia Dortmund.

He has not been able to put up those extraordinary numbers at the senior level yet but considering that Moukoko is still just 18 years of age, he has not made a bad impression either. He has made a few appearances for the German national team as well.

Moukoko certainly has the talent and potential for Real Madrid to take a risk. Los Blancos have a splendid track record when it comes to developing youngsters in recent years. And if they do sign the striker from Borussia Dortmund, fans would be confident that the club would be able to improve him.
