Real Madrid have been very active in recent years when it comes to identifying and signing players from Brazil. The likes of Vinicius Jr and Rodrygo arrived as teenagers and have gone on to become regular starters, playing a major part in the club’s successes lately. They also have a €60 million transfer deal in place to bring Endrick, who has earned comparisons to Ronaldo Nazario, to the Spanish capital next summer.

Of course, that is not to say that all such moves have worked out. Reinier Jesus had arrived in a €30 million transfer deal and has not even made his debut for the club almost four years later.

It looks like Real Madrid will continue to look towards Brazil for the next big superstars in the game. And they seem to be facing heavy competition for one youngster’s signature.

The player in question is Lorran of Flamengo. He has played very little football at the senior level till now but it has been enough to attract the attention of some of the biggest teams in all of football.

As reported by 90min, Manchester United and Brighton & Hove Albion are leading the race to sign Lorran. Real Madrid’s Juni Calafat is also keeping an eye on his development. Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain have also been linked with an interest as have Chelsea, Manchester City and West Ham United.

Lorran does not have a lot of senior-level experience. According to stats from Transfermarkt, he has made 4 appearances and played 123 minutes of football for Flamengo, and has a goal to his name.

Judging by the level of clubs interested in Lorran, it is pretty clear that he is a top talent. It remains to be seen if Real Madrid are able to win the race for the Brazilian wonderkid’s signature.
