Real Madrid are always on the lookout for the next big talents in the game. The club have pretty much moved away from their Galactico-style signings in recent years and focused more on identifying the right youngsters from around the world. And it looks like a German wonderkid is in their sights right now.

Unfortunately for Real Madrid, they are not the only ones. Liverpool seem to have an interest in the 19-year-old as well.

As reported by Defensa Central (via The Hard Tackle), Real Madrid are keen on Raul Paula. But as tweeted out by Ed Aarons, Brighton & Hove Albion and Liverpool have been scouting the Germany Under 18 midfielder as well.

Paula has represented  Germany at multiple youth international levels. He currently plays for the VfB Stuttgart II team and has made a splendid start to this campaign, which appears to have caught the eye of clubs like Real Madrid, Liverpool and Brighton & Hove Albion.

Real Madrid have a spectacular record when it comes to developing youngsters in recent years. Eduardo Camavinga, Fede Valverde, Rodrygo and Vinicius Jr all started at the club when they were teenagers and have developed into starters.

This and the undeniable aura of Real Madrid could give them a potential advantage in the transfer race. Of course, one cannot deny that Liverpool are an attractive destination for any youngster as well.

Brighton & Hove Albion could be dark horses in the race to sign Paula as well. The Premier League club have an incredible record when it comes to identifying talent. Just over the past three seasons, they have generated more than €400 million in transfer exits. That is a remarkable record, especially when you consider that over that period of time, they have improved as a team and currently sit third in the table.
