The Real Madrid squad for the future is starting to come together very nicely. The midfield already seems secured with the likes of Jude Bellingham, Eduardo Camavinga, Aurelien Tchouameni and Fede Valverde. The four of them are expected to lead the club for the better part of the next decade.

However, one area where Real Madrid are lacking options is at centre-forward. The club already have their wingers of the future in Vinicius Junior and Rodrygo, but who will partner the two Brazilian internationals through the middle remains unclear.

There have been many world-class strikers linked with Real Madrid in the past. But they have not signed any of them yet. However, the club could be looking towards one of the best in Europe, with his future at Napoli in serious doubt.

As reported by Daily Mail (via Independent), Real Madrid, Chelsea and Saudi Arabian clubs are leading a pursuit for Victor Osimhen. There is a possibility that the 24-year-old striker could push to leave Napoli in January.

Osimhen solidified himself last season as one of the top strikers in the world. The Nigerian international was the top scorer in Italy with 26 league goals, helping guide Napoli to their first Scudetto since Diego Maradona was at the club.

The striker is off to a great start in Serie A this season as well, with five goals in the first seven league games. However, not all seems well between the player and his club. A controversial social media post was made on Napoli’s TikTok regarding the striker and it has put his future in doubt.

It remains to be seen if Osimhen will request a move away from Napoli. If he does, it is believed that the club would look for a transfer fee around €150 million, a figure that would no doubt be tough for Real Madrid to meet.
