Brahim Diaz has been at Real Madrid since 2019 but he was hyped as almost like a new signing this summer, having spent the previous three seasons out on loan at AC Milan. The Spaniard had progressed immensely over the course of his time in Italy and had become a vital player there by the end of it.

As a result, there were high expectations that Brahim could make an impact in a Real Madrid team lacking in depth in the forward areas. Unfortunately, that has not happened.

Brahim has struggled for opportunities. According to stats from Transfermarkt, he has made 8 appearances and played 116 minutes of football in total, scoring a goal in the process.

Brahim has started just one game this season till now, against Las Palmas, and he did manage to find the back of the net in that one. But unfortunately, that has not translated to more playing time for the Spaniard and unsurprisingly, there is already speculation over his future.

West Ham United eyeing 24-year-old Real Madrid player

As reported by Todofichajes, Brahim is not having the opportunities he expected at Real Madrid, and is now considering leaving the Spanish capital to try his luck elsewhere. Watching the situation closely are West Ham United, who would like to strengthen their squad by signing the talented Spaniard.

Somewhere like West Ham United could be perfect for Brahim. That is the type of club where he would be a guaranteed starter from the get-go and can show exactly what he is capable of.

Of course, with the lack of options all over the pitch, one has to wonder whether Real Madrid would be open to parting ways with Brahim right now despite the fact that he is struggling for playing time. It remains to be seen how things play out.
