Real Madrid have had a number of talented youngsters in their ranks over the years who have never really gotten a proper chance to show what they are capable of. A number of them have been allowed to leave on a permanent basis, even though Los Blancos do like to have a significant sell-on clause included in those deals on most occasions.

Several of them fail to make much of an impact even after leaving Real Madrid. But then, there are others who end up excelling at their new clubs and some are even signed back by Los Blancos.

Takefusa Kubo is someone who was in Real Madrid’s ranks not too long ago. But he did not make a single appearance for the club, spending most of his time out on loan before joining Real Sociedad permanently last year.

Kubo has excelled at Real Sociedad though and is currently playing some top-class football. According to stats from Transfermarkt, he has scored 5 goals and provided 2 assists in 10 appearances so far this season.

Manchester United appear to have been impressed with what they have seen from Kubo. The Red Devils need to strengthen on the right flank with the future of Jadon Sancho unclear.

As reported by El Nacional, Manchester United are willing to offer a significant figure to add Kubo to their ranks. However, Real Madrid have a 50% sell-on clause and a first-refusal right.

Real Madrid could do with some options in the forward areas right now as well. Although, they do not play with traditional wingers in the new 4-4-2 system.

The situation could be different in the future as Carlo Ancelotti is expected to depart next summer. Several managers have been linked with the Real Madrid managerial job in recent times with Xabi Alonso the favourite.
