Real Madrid have quite the reputation when it comes to identifying the best young talents from around the world and developing them into first-team stars at Santiago Bernabeu. Just look at how the careers of Vinicius Jr, Rodrygo and Fede Valverde have turned. All arrived in the Spanish capital as teenagers and can be considered superstars today, with regular roles in the starting XI.

Real Madrid have continued following that strategy. This summer, they signed Arda Guler. The 18-year-old Turkish international might not have made his debut for the club yet, due to his injury problems, but he is considered a supreme talent and has already impressed his teammates in training.

The club also have a €60 million deal in place to sign Endrick. He will arrive at Real Madrid next summer when he turns 18 years of age.

Now, it looks like another highly-rated youngster is in the sights of Real Madrid. But they are not the only club chasing his signature.

Real Madrid lead transfer race to sign Chelsea target

As reported by Defensa Central (via The Hard Tackle), Real Madrid and Chelsea are two of the clubs keen on signing Shamrock Rovers’ Naj Razi. English clubs cannot sign him before he turns 18 years of age, which has Los Blancos on alert before the January transfer window.

Raji just recently turned 17 and currently plays for Shamrock Rovers. He has only a handful of appearances at the senior level.

But it looks like he has been successful in showcasing his talents to some of the biggest teams in Europe already. Thus, it seems only like a matter of time before the youngster gets a big move away from Shamrock Rovers. One would hope that Real Madrid’s fantastic recent record in developing young talents helps them in getting a deal done for him.
