Real Madrid have a habit of signing some of the best young talents in the world. This summer, they brought in Jude Bellingham for a €134 million transfer package from Borussia Dortmund. Months on, that is looking like an absolute bargain and the Englishman might realistically be the best player in the game on current form.

Another top talent they signed in the summer is Arda Guler. He is yet to make his Real Madrid debut due to injuries but has dazzled with his displays in training. It is only a matter of time before we see him take to the pitch in the Royal White jersey and big things are expected.

Real Madrid look set to continue signing the best youngsters in the game. Florian Wirtz is a player they have linked with quite a few times over the years. But it looks like there are other teams interested in the German wonderkid as well.

As reported by TEAMtalk, Chelsea are one of the English clubs most interested in signing Wirtz. The Bayer Leverkusen player is believed to perfectly fit with the Blues’ vision. The likes of Manchester City, Bayern Munich, Barcelona and more appear to be eyeing the German international too.

It is safe to say that there is quite a bit of interest in signing Wirtz. And understandably so, he is one of the best young talents in all of Europe right now.

Bayer Leverkusen are absolutely flying right now and sit atop the Bundesliga table. The form of Wirtz has been one of the biggest reasons behind that. According to stats from Transfermarkt, he has scored 6 goals and provided 9 assists in 15 appearances this season so far.

Interestingly, there are rumours that Xabi Alonso could potentially replace Carlo Ancelotti as Real Madrid manager next season. If that turned out to be the case, it could give Los Blancos an advantage in the race to sign Wirtz.
