Chelsea make €25 million-plus offer for Real Madrid target
Real Madrid have the best midfield department in the world right now. But that has never stopped them from looking out for the next elite talents in the game. The club have a brilliant record in recent years of signing Brazilian wonderkids and turning them into first-team starters under their watch at Santiago Bernabeu.
Names like Vinicius Jr and Rodrygo come to mind immediately. Endrick is set to arrive next summer from Palmeiras when he turns 18.
There is another Brazilian talent Real Madrid are believed to be interested in. Gabriel Moscardo, who many believe is the one who will take Casemiro’s place in the Brazil national team for years to come.
Moscardo is just 18 years of age now and currently plays for Corinthians. And while the likes of Real Madrid and Barcelona have been linked with him, Chelsea have taken the first steps towards signing him by putting in a significant offer.

As reported by GOAL, Chelsea have sent a new formal proposal for the signing of Moscardo. It is believed to be a transfer package north of €25 million.
Moscardo is considered one of the best defensive midfield talents in South American football right now, similar to Federico Redondo to Argentina, who has also been linked with a move to Real Madrid in recent times.
Now, it remains to be seen if Real Madrid do choose to make a move for Moscardo or not. At this moment, it certainly looks like Chelsea are ahead of the rest in the race for the Brazilian youngster.
That being said, no offer has been accepted yet. As long as that remains the case, Real Madrid have a chance of signing Moscardo from Corinthians. The club already have Aurelien Tchouameni playing in defensive midfield, who himself is just 23 years of age.
