Real Madrid have been linked with a number of high-profile players in recent months. The club seem to have big plans for the 2024 summer transfer window if the rumours are accurate. That being said, there is going to be a lot of competition for the signature of a number of their key targets.

One player who Real Madrid have been heavily linked with for months now is Alphonso Davies. The Bayern Munich left-back’s contract runs out in the summer of 2025.

Davies is yet to extend his contract with Bayern Munich. And if things don’t advance in the coming months, it is expected that they would be open to the Canadian international leaving in the summer rather than risk seeing him walk out for nothing a year later.

On the other hand, Fran Garcia has not been able to convince that he is capable of being a starter for the club since arriving in the summer.

Davies has the experience of playing for a top club like Bayern Munich. On top of that, he is just 23 years of age and is expected to be a top left-back in world football for the next decade to come at the very least.

Someone like him would be the perfect left-back for Real Madrid and rumours coming out of Germany have suggested that he is leaning towards the Spanish giants. Now, let’s see what the future holds for the Canadian international star.
