Real Madrid have made a better start to the campaign than most people would have expected, considering their injury problems and lack of squad depth. That is simply down to the quality of the players at the club, who step up whenever needed, and Carlo Ancelotti and his coaching team getting the best out of the options available to them.
Real Madrid deserve a lot of credit for that. Even under difficult circumstances, they have continued to win consistently. Lesser teams would have struggled.
At the same time, one aspect in which the club have struggled is promoting their youth stars to the senior team. One would think this to be the perfect time to give them some minutes. But Ancelotti has preferred to stick with the tried-and-tested names for the most part.
It has brought the club results. But it has also led to several brilliant youngsters leaving before ever getting a proper chance at Santiago Bernabeu.
La Liga rivals want to sign Real Madrid player in January
Smart loan deals could act as the bridge between Castilla and the Real Madrid senior team. And it looks like the club might have the chance to make one in the near future.
As reported by Cadena Cope (via Mundo Deportivo), Valencia are interested in the loan signing of Peter Federico. Once the winter transfer window opens on January 1, 2024, the wheel will begin to turn.
Peter has made a few appearances for Real Madrid at the senior level. But chances of him playing regular football for Ancelotti’s side at the moment are slim to none.
He is already 21 years of age though and needs to be playing consistent football at this stage in order to continue his development. Thus, going out to a top flight club like Valencia could be a great move for him.
