Toni Kroos tips €100 million German player for Real Madrid
Real Madrid are always on the lookout for the next big thing. They brought in a fantastic talent this summer in Jude Bellingham. The Englishman was the reigning Bundesliga Player of the Season, so he was always expected to succeed at Santiago Bernabeu. But even then, not many would have seen this kind of form coming.
Bellingham has arguably been the world’s best player this season so far. There are already talks about him being in the running for next year’s Ballon d’Or.
His form also proves that the Bundesliga’s best players can perform in La Liga too. And the club have been linked with another top talent from the German top flight in recent months.
Bayer Leverkusen have been flying this season and sit atop the Bundesliga table, two points ahead of Bayern Munich. One of the biggest reasons behind that is the form of Florian Wirtz, who looks back to his very best. And Toni Kroos believes he is someone capable of playing for Real Madrid.

As reported by MARCA, Kroos said:
"“Which players have the potential to play for Real Madrid? I should have a more global vision, but I think of Florian Wirtz. I think he could fit.”"
Interestingly, current Bayer Leverkusen manager, Xabi Alonso, is believed to be the favourite to replace Carlo Ancelotti as Real Madrid manager, if the Italian does indeed leave next summer. If the Spaniard did return to Los Blancos, that could open up the path for Wirtz to follow him to the Santiago Bernabeu.
That being said, one has to wonder whether Real Madrid need him at this point in time. Wirtz is at his best playing in the number 10 role. That is currently occupied by Bellingham at Santiago Bernabeu.
It is expected to take a transfer fee around €100 million to sign Wirtz. It remains to be seen if Real Madrid make a move for the German wonderkid or look to strengthen in other areas of the pitch.
