Real Madrid told to sign €40 million France international
Real Madrid find themselves in a difficult situation right now with a number of key players out with injury. Thibaut Courtois and Eder Militao tore their ACLs early on in the season and are expected to remain out for several more months. On the other hand, Vinicius Jr, Eduardo Camavinga and Aurelien Tchouameni find themselves on the sidelines as well.
Carlo Ancelotti already had a tough task on his hands. The Italian coach has been getting the best out of a pretty slim roster of players so far. But his job has now been made more difficult.
It will be interesting to see whether Real Madrid dip into the January transfer market or decide to wait until the summer once again. And it looks like a French international has been recommended to Ancelotti.
As reported by GianlucaDiMarzio.com, Oscar Damiani said when speaking about Khephren Thuram:
"“Where would I see Khéphren well? At Real Madrid. I recommended him to Carlo Ancelotti.”"
Real Madrid told to sign €40 million France international
Thuram has been linked with Real Madrid quite a few times in the past as well and is one of the most highly-rated players in Ligue 1 right now. He plays for OGC Nice and represented the France national team already as well.
The 22-year-old is the son of French footballing icon, Lilian Thuram, who won both the World Cup and the EUROs with Les Bleus. Khephren’s brother, Marcus, currently plays for Inter Milan and he was linked with Real Madrid in the past as well.
It remains to be seen if Real Madrid end up making a move for him. There have been some rumours that it would take a transfer fee of around €40 million to sign him. Los Blancos already have one of the best midfield departments in the world though. Could someone like Thuram come in and get game time ahead of the likes of Tchouameni, Camavinga, Fede Valverde, Toni Kroos, Luka Modric and more, when everybody is fit and available?
