Real Madrid have already been heavily linked with Alphonso Davies and there is not much left to say about the situation. The Canadian international’s current deal is set to run out in the summer of 2025 and it is very possible that the Bundesliga champions would be willing to let him depart at the end of this campaign, rather than risk seeing him walk out as a free agent just a year later.

It remains to be seen what happens with Davies next summer. Amidst all this, there is another player who Real Madrid appear to be keeping an eye on.

Similar to Davies, Leroy Sane’s current deal with Bayern Munich is believed to run out in the summer of 2025 as well. Unfortunately, Real Madrid are not the only ones who appear to be keeping an eye on him.

Xavi appears to have an eye on the German international as well. As reported by SPORT, Barcelona and Real Madrid have focused their attention on Sane in recent months.

Real Madrid interested in another Bayern Munich player

Of course, if someone like Sane became available for transfer, one would expect several Premier League clubs to be interested as well. He already has a positive experience of the English top flight, having been at Manchester City in the past.

Sane has found his best form since moving to Bayern Munich following the appointment of Thomas Tuchel. According to stats from Transfermarkt, he has scored 9 goals and provided 7 assists in 18 appearances this season.

Of course, Sane has already enjoyed success in Germany and England. So La Liga could very well be an attractive option for him. At 27 years of age, he is pretty much entering his prime too. Someone like him could be an excellent addition to this Real Madrid team but pulling it off would be complicated for sure.
