Real Madrid and FC Barcelona have pretty much defined football for much of this century. Los Blancos had their Galacticos era, which might not have been very successful on the pitch, but they did have the biggest stars on the planet. Then the Catalan giants would go on to have arguably the best team in club football history and changed the game forever. The balance shifted once again and came the Champions League three-peat under the management of Zinedine Zidane.

When it is all said and done, Real Madrid and Barcelona have been the two most prominent clubs teams in his century. Naturally, several generations of footballers have grown up wanting to play for them.

One of the biggest talents in Brazilian football right now is Estevao. He is 16 years of age and currently plays for Palmeiras. But it seems only like a matter of time before one of Europe’s best teams signs him.

Real Madrid are believed to be interested in signing him and reuniting the Brazilian youngster with Endrick at Santiago Bernabeu. There have been rumours that PSG have made offers for Estevao in the past. But it looks like it is Barcelona that he wants to join.

As reported by Mundo Deportivo, Estevao said when asked about his biggest dream:

"“Play for Barcelona, which is one of the best clubs in the world. I was born watching Neymar, Messi and Suárez play at Barcelona and that is the dream I have.”"

Interestingly, Estevao has been compared to Messi for his style of football. The influence of the Argentine World Cup winner on the Brazilian youngster’s game is clearly visible.

Estevao has been one of the standout performers in the ongoing U-17 World Cup. Those performances have only seen his stock rise further.

Estevao has not even made his senior debut for Palmeiras yet. But it looks like a club might need to match his €60 million release clause if they want to sign him.
