Real Madrid ready to make Galactico signing with two names on horizon
Real Madrid have moved away from their Galactico-style signings over the years. In recent times, they have focused more on bringing in youngsters and developing them into superstars. Yes, the club did shell out a transfer package believed to be around €134 million to sign Jude Bellingham from Borussia Dortmund. But at the end of the day, the Englishman was still 19 when he arrived.
He quite certainly was not considered among the biggest names in the game. It has taken him just a few months in the Royal White jersey to change that.
Despite that, a major signing is expected to be made in the not too distant future. Especially with the ‘new’ Santiago Bernabeu set to be inaugurated soon.
As reported by AS, Real Madrid has prepared its accounts to assume, without any problem in its balance sheets, the arrival of a galactico. Kylian Mbappe and Erling Haaland are on the horizon.

Mbappe has been linked with Real Madrid for years now. The Frenchman’s current deal with PSG is set to run out next summer and he has not signed an extension yet. As a result, most people view Santiago Bernabeu as his most likely destination.
On the other hand, Haaland has emerged as one of the top players in the game. He helped Manchester City to a treble in his very first season at the club, scoring a Premier League-record 36 goals, 12 in the Champions League and 52 overall. There is very little reason for him to leave the Citizens anytime soon, but at the same time, it is believed that a release clause will become active in the Norwegian superstar’s contract in the summer of 2025.
Thus, either Mbappe or Haaland would have to be considered as incredible signings for Real Madrid. Now, it remains to be seen if Los Blancos can make it happen.
