Cristiano Ronaldo is one of the best players to have ever pulled on the Real Madrid jersey. During his nine years at Santiago Bernabeu, the Portuguese icon created a number of records, many of which will stand the test of time. Some have not though, with Jude Bellingham getting his names into the history books with his goal against Cadiz.

With several injury problems to deal with, it is understandable why many Real Madrid fans are nervous about the upcoming games. But the team certainly seems to have taken it in their stride and registered a comfortable 3-0 win over Cadiz.

Rodrygo got himself a brace while Bellingham scored the third. In the process, he also got himself an all-time record.

As tweeted out by ESPN FC, no player has ever scored more goals for Real Madrid in their first 15 matches than Bellingham. He has 14 goals to his name, Ronaldo and Alfredo Di Stefano both had 13.

Bellingham has been in world-class form ever since he arrived at Santiago Bernabeu in the summer from Borussia Dortmund. People continue to expect his form to take a dip and somehow, he continues delivering.

Bellingham was returning to the pitch against Cadiz after dealing with an injury lately, which saw him miss a few games. But it did not look like he was rusty at all, as the Englishman continues his rise and has to be considered the face of this Real Madrid team.

If he can continue performing like this, he might have a few Ballon d’Ors waiting in his future. For the time being, the focus has to be on the task at hand.

Real Madrid have some tough games coming up over the next few months, especially with so many key players out injured. If they are to continue winning consistently, they will need Bellingham at the top of his game.
