Despite a shaky start to the season, Manchester United have climbed up to sixth in the Premier League table. That being said, they have had somewhat of an easy run recently and whenever they come up against tough opposition, Erik ten Hag’s side seem to struggle. So, reinforcements are needed at Old Trafford and it looks like a Real Madrid target is on their radar.

The player in question is none other than Estevao. The Brazilian wonderkid has been the subject of a lot of headlines lately. In fact, he has even been compared to Lionel Messi and earned the nickname ‘Messinho’.

He is currently a part of Palmeiras. Although he has not even made his debut senior yet that has not stopped a number of Europe’s most illustrious clubs from being linked with the Brazilian youngster. And that interest will only grow after his impressive displays at the FIFA U-17 World Cup.

As reported by Fichajes, Ten Hag has been pushing to progress negotiations and secure the signing of Estevao. Manchester United are prepared to compete for his signature. Chelsea, Manchester City, Barcelona and Real Madrid are also interested.

It seems like only a matter of time before one of Europe’s top clubs ends up agreeing a deal to sign Estevao. Real Madrid might have an advantage in that regard.

The club have a proven track record of signing Brazilian wonderkids and developing them into first-team superstars. Vinicius Junior and Rodrygo both arrived in the Spanish capital as highly-rated wonderkids, were allowed the time to settle and find themselves as integral starters today.

On the other hand, Endrick, also of Palmeiras, will be joining Real Madrid next summer. Estevao has come up through the youth ranks at the Brazilian club playing with him.
