Chelsea might not be impressing on the pitch but they have been consistently signing some of the biggest young talents from around the world. It is a project that might take time but it feels like the Blues do have a bright future ahead of them. And they appear to have agreed a deal for one of Real Madrid’s transfer targets.

Of course, it is no secret that Real Madrid are always keeping an eye on Brazilian wonderkids. Gabriel Moscardo is someone they have been linked with in recent months.

Moscardo is considered one of the two biggest young midfield talents in South American football right now, alongside Federico Redondo of Argentina. The Brazilian youngster currently plays for Corinthians and is a regular feature for them at just 18 years of age.

Unfortunately for Real Madrid, it looks like he is heading for Stamford Bridge. As reported by TNT Sports, presenter Craque Neto reported on the program ‘Donos da Bola‘ that Chelsea have agreed to sign Moscardo from Corinthians.

Reports coming out of Brazil suggest that the transfer fee is around €25 million. Let’s see how accurate the suggestions turn out to be.

It would come as no surprise if Chelsea do end up signing Moscardo. The Blues have brought in a number of top young talents from around the globe in recent times.

It might be more proven quality that they need right now though. Mauricio Pochettino’s side have been putting in decent performances but seem to lack the experience and maturity required to convert these displays into results.

Someone like Moscardo could have been a solid addition to Real Madrid’s midfield. He is dubbed the ‘Next Casemiro’ after all. But the club do have the likes of Eduardo Camavinga and Aurelien Tchouameni already.
