Real Madrid need to strengthen their ranks in the upcoming transfer windows. The team deserve immense credit for continuing to deliver results consistently despite the lack of depth and the number of key players out injured. This cannot continue forever though. We saw Los Blancos’ form fade away in the second half of the 22/23 season. It is very possible that could happen this time around as well.

Hopefully, Real Madrid will continue to build their squad. They have the base in place for a successful team. Now, it is about increasing the depth with some quality additions.

There is a reason why Manchester City have been successful season after season. Real Madrid need to replicate that and build a strong squad from top to bottom. And it looks like they have a Liverpool player in their sights although they face competition from FC Barcelona.

As tweeted out by Ekrem Konur, Real Madrid and Barcelona are monitoring Luis Diaz’s situation. But Liverpool will reject offers for the Colombian winger in January.

While Diaz might not be a nailed-on starter for Liverpool, he quite certainly is a regular contributor to Jurgen Klopp’s side. According to stats from Transfermarkt, he has scored 4 goals and provided an assist in 15 appearances this season so far.

Liverpool were believed to have signed Diaz from FC Porto for a transfer package believed to be around €60 million in early 2022. Has he met the expectations over the past two years?

Someone like Diaz could be a decent addition for Real Madrid, especially when you consider the lack of options in the forward areas and on the wings. But Los Blancos do have Vinicius Junior already. The Brazilian international is playing more centrally right now but his best position is on the left flank. Do they need another high-profile player in the same position?
