Real Madrid ready to make offer to Kylian Mbappe
The saga involving Kylian Mbappe and Real Madrid has been going on for years now. On several occasions, Los Blancos have appeared to be on the verge of getting a deal done for the Frenchman but it has never gotten over the line. They might have their best chance ever in the summer of 2024.
Mbappe’s current deal with Paris Saint-Germain is set to run out next summer. He will be free to discuss terms with other clubs from January. And at this point, he does not seem close to a contract extension.
Of course, if there is one thing we have learned from years of the Mbappe transfer saga, it is that anything can happen. Expect the unexpected. But at this moment, it feels like he is edging towards the PSG exit door.
Some recent rumours had suggested that Real Madrid had decided to not make a move for Mbappe. It looks like they might not have been accurate.
Real Madrid ready to make offer to Mbappe
As tweeted out by Jorge C. Picon, Real Madrid will present Mbappe with an offer. But the club will not go all out. If the Frenchman wants to come, he will have to prove it.
It is understandable why Real Madrid might be reluctant to go all out for Mbappe and publicly showcase any interest in signing him. If they did that and then failed to bring him to Santiago Bernabeu next summer as well, it would not be a good look for Los Blancos.
So, it would make sense for Real Madrid to make their moves in silence. To be honest, Santiago Bernabeu feels like Mbappe’s most likely destination if he was to indeed leave PSG next summer. But clubs like Liverpool, Manchester United and a few others have been linked with a potential move as well.
