A move to Real Madrid always raises the stock of a player. But even considering that Jude Bellingham has been on a meteoric since switching Signal Iduna Park for Santiago Bernabeu. The Englishman won the Bundesliga Player of the Season, as Borussia Dortmund narrowly missed out on the title. So, it was clear that Los Blancos were getting a fantastic talent. Yet, he has managed to exceed all expectations and then some.

Bellingham has been Real Madrid’s best player this season by a country mile. In fact, he has carried the team to victory pretty much on his own on multiple occasions amidst a record-breaking start to his career in the Spanish capital.

Bellingham recently won the Golden Boy Award and deservedly so. It is hard to think of anyone who could or should have finished ahead of him.

Some of the biggest names in world football congratulated him in the comments section of his Instagram post. And one particular one might have caught the eye of many Real Madrid fans.

Liverpool’s Trent Alexander-Arnold sends message to Real Madrid player

Trent Alexander-Arnold of Liverpool commented ‘Man of the year’ on Bellingham’s Instagram post accompanied by a crown emoji. Interestingly, the Liverpool player has been linked with Real Madrid in recent times.

Trent’s current deal with Liverpool is believed to run out in the summer of 2025 and he is yet to put pen to paper on an extension. On the other hand, Real Madrid need to bring in a long-term successor to Dani Carvajal at right-back.

One should not read too much into Trent’s comment though. After all, Bellingham is an England international teammate of the Liverpool player.

It would not be a surprise if Real Madrid were actually interested in signing Trent though. There are question marks about the defensive side of the Englishman’s game but he is one of the best ever full-backs going forward.
