Real Madrid face Valencia in their last match before the international break on Saturday, with the hopes of getting yet another win to make it seven triumphs in a row.
Real Madrid have looked quite good in these last few weeks. Even though the game against AEK Athens was not anything to write home about, apart from the obvious comeback, a win is still a win. With so many of Real Madrid's best players also returning to their best positions for this game, it will hopefully be a much smoother affair for Los Blancos.
With that said, Real Madrid would also have to start quite a few big players, considering how much they always struggle at the Mestalla, where this game will be played.
3 non-negotiable Real Madrid starters for their Valencia visit
Jude Bellingham
Jude Bellingham was one of Real Madrid's best players against AEK Athens on Wednesday, and that can be said about most of Real Madrid's games in general. He has looked, by far, the most confident, impactful, and brilliant player that Real Madrid have had all season, and without him, they would always seem to struggle.
Real Madrid need him to play, especially in a game as difficult as one against Valencia. Solely because, despite the fact that he played both of Real Madrid's games earlier this week, Bellingham would have to start at cam as an attacking midfielder once again. He would have to hope to make a big enough impact for Jose Mourinho to be able to sub him off a bit earlier.
Be that as it may, Bellingham is probably Real Madrid's best player of the season so far, and he must start a game like this, no matter what.
Arda Guler
Arda Guler was absent from Real Madrid's comeback win over AEK Athens, and one could immediately tell just how big of an impact the Turkish international usually has on this team. Without Guler in the attack or midfield, Real Madrid struggled to create chances out of nothing during the game. At many points, that was pretty impactful.
Guler will definitely return to the starting eleven if he is fully fit, and if that is the case, he will be one of the first names on the team sheet. He provides Real Madrid with a certain creativity that no one else has on the team. It doesn't matter which position he plays, as long as he features for Los Blancos, because they would definitely need him against a tough team like Valencia.
Ibrahima Konate
Konate was rested against AEK Athens on Wednesday, but that should not continue into the league campaign. Real Madrid would need some of their strongest centerbacks available for the game. Even though Antonio Rudiger and Eder Militao did a good job during the match, Konate still should return to the starting eleven because of what he provides in terms of physicality, defensive intelligence, and solidity.
The Frenchman has been one of Real Madrid's best players of the season, and he must continue being able to prove that, even in games where Real Madrid might be able to get away with not playing him sometimes.
