Real Madrid can make statement signings in almost every transfer window. It helps the club on the field by bringing in the world's best players. Their ability to attract star names is also a contributing factor in marketing the team as a global brand.

The Galácticos era of the early 2000s, with David Beckham, Zinedine Zidane, and Ronaldo, never really ended. The club then had the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo, Kaka, and Sergio Ramos. Now they have Jude Bellingham. Kylian Mbappé and Vinicius Júnior.

With big-name signings, it often leaves homegrown, young, underperforming, or ageing players out in the cold. Here are a few names that could soon be on their way out of Real Madrid.

3 Real Madrid players who are now expendable

Endrick

Whenever a young Brazilian bursts onto the scene, he is always said to be the next Pelé. However, few have lived up to the great Santos and New York Cosmos players' reputation. Although they have had the likes of Ronaldo, Neymar, and now Vinicius.

Endrick starred for Palmeiras and even scored for Brazil against England at Wembley. However, now at Real Madrid, he has made just one substitute appearance in La Liga this season. That was in a game that Los Blancos currently won 4-0 against Valencia.

The 19-year-old is set to join Olympique Lyonnais on loan for the second half of the season. This could go two ways. Either he impresses enough to earn his place at Real Madrid, or he ends up being a player who is sent on multiple loans without finding a permanent home.

Fran García

Fran García starred for Real Madrid in the Club World Cup over the summer. He played every minute of Los Blancos' run to the semi-finals. The left-back even contributed with a goal against Borussia Dortmund and an assist against Pachuca.

Since the tournament, he has played just twice in La Liga. Álvaro Carreras, who joined the club from Benfica last summer, is now Xabi Alonso's preferred left-back. García played for Rayo Vallecano before re-signing for Real Madrid.

He may have to leave Los Blancos again to ensure regular game time. There are rumors that clubs in Serie A, the Bundesliga, or the Portuguese league could be on the cards for García.

David Alaba

David Alaba is now 33 years old, and his contract with Real Madrid expires at the end of the season. The Austrian has played just three times in La Liga this season. In his last appearance, he had to be taken off at halftime against Getafe due to injury.

He has since returned from his calf problem and may still have a part to play this season. Antonio Rudiger and Éder Militão are currently injured, so Alonso may still need the experienced Alaba in his back line.

The defender has won it all at Real Madrid, including La Liga and the Champions League both on two occasions. However, the former Bayern Munich player is now being linked with moves elsewhere in Europe, Saudi Arabia, and MLS.
