Real Madrid beat Rayo Vallecano 4-1 at the Bernabeu to return to winning ways in La Liga, with goals from Kylian Mbappe, Jude Bellingham and Alvaro Carreras.
There were a number of brilliant performers for Real Madrid, as they looked to fight and chase Barcelona in the league table.
Kylian Mbappe scored two goals, and looked great, while players like Bellingham put on a show for the team. They were able to quickly score three goals to put the game to bed, before seeing Mbappe add a fourth in stoppage time.

Star: Jude Bellingham
Once again, Bellingham was one of the best players on the pitch with a brilliant performance. Everything that Real Madrid did went through the Englishman. He scored a brilliant goal from the edge of the box to give Real Madrid a comfortable advantage. Even if you remove the goal, a lot of what the team tried to do was because Bellingham positioned himself to help his teammates, and it resulted in a fine showing from the midfielder.
Star: Bernardo Silva
Silva was back in the lineup after missing out on the Inter match, and the Portuguese midfielder absolutely did not disappoint. He looked to be the glue for the entire team, and constantly moved around to support his teammates. He worked quite hard defensively, and was heavily involved in Bellingham's goal. Also played the pass to Mbappe for his assist.
Flop: Federico Valverde
Subpar performance from the Uruguayan, who was hooked at half-time for Eduardo Camavinga. He has only had one truly great game so far this season, which came against Inter. Despite being captain, he has a lot to improve on.
Star: Alvaro Carreras
Carreras made a return to form against Rayo Vallecano with a goal, while also winning the penalty for the team's first of the night. He looked absolutely brilliant all game, and showed his best display in months for Real Madrid. Hopefully a sign of things to come.
Star: Kylian Mbappe
Mbappe scored two goals and gave Carreras an assist, and in general looked quite good. There was little Rayo could do to limit his presence inside their defensive third, and Mbappe scored his fifth and sixth goals of the season to become joint top scorer in the league. Hopefully he is able to keep this up for the rest of the season.
