Real Madrid are gearing up for their Champions League clash against Arsenal, after beating Atletico Madrid in a tense penalty shootout.
They will play the first leg at the Emirates Stadium in England, while the second leg will be at the Santiago Bernabeu, giving them a slight advantage.
However, the first leg will be a tough game, especially without one of their key players.
Tchouameni will serve a suspension, and is out for the first leg vs Arsenal
Real Madrid midfielder Aurelien Tchouameni, who has turned over a new leaf since the turn of the year, is set to miss the first leg of the Champions League quarter-final clash due to suspension.
There were five Real Madrid players who were at the risk of getting suspended had they picked up a yellow card against Atletico Madrid at the Wanda Metropolitano on Wednesday.
Tchouameni picked one during the match, which meant he will be miss out on the away day in London.
Tchouameni has been really good this year, especially in the last few games in his favoured position. It is not tough to figure out who the replacement of the Frenchman will be.
Eduardo Camavinga, who was lauded by Carlo Ancelotti after the win against Atletico, will probably start in his French teammate's place at the Emirates.
It would help Real Madrid out massively if he is able to put in a performance not different from the one against Atletico in the second leg. Camavinga was immense for the 55 minutes he played, completing six tackles, two interceptions, two clearances and 30 passes out of 31.
If he is able to muster up another performance of that ridiculously high level, Real Madrid may not feel Tchouameni's absence as much anymore - though he would need to be careful as he is in a similar situation as Tchouameni with respect to yellow cards.
