Although Kylian Mbappe and Vinicius Junior actually have a strong relationship off the pitch, contrary to what the media portrays and how the rest of the Real Madrid locker room seems to feel about each other, they still continue to struggle to co exist on the pitch. Many of Vini's best games, including a brace against Espanyol, have come without Mbappe on the pitch, though, in truth ,even the best players of all time at PSG could not work with Mbappe either.

Therefore, Real Madrid president Florentino Perez wants to bring in the ultimate manager to put superstars and quarreling players into a do or die trial, Jose Mourinho, in an effort to spare having to get rid of a superstar and blow everything up. Either they will get on the same page, or Mourinho will blow it all up for them.

There is this myth, based on how the media portrayed the firing of Xabi Alonso and used Vinicius Jr. as a shield for the dirty work that Perez and the club wanted done (as well as the other, quiet moles in the locker room who don't have the guts to show their true feelings), that Vini is erratic and uncoachable. Nevermind that he has been booed by the Santiago Bernabeu when things go bad for years, yet never went against the fans. Nevermind that Karim Benzema once told a teammate Vini was playing against them, yet Vini showed the ultimate respect to Benzema, shook his hand, and became his greatest asset in that historic 2021/22 season.

Vinicius Jr. is happy to have Jose Mourinho

On the one hand, you can understand why there are worries Vinicius Junior and Jose Mourinho may not get along due to their volatile personalities, but Mourinho often loves these kinds of players the most. He loves players who want to win and are emotional, just like him.

To further put rest to the worries about how Vini Jr. and Mourinho would work together, journalist Marcos Benito said on El Chiringuito, via Madrid Xtra, that sources close to VInicius Jr. deny the Brazilian superstar would have any issues with Mou. In fact, they relay that Vini would very much welcome the arrival of the Special One.

Now, before Kylian Mbappe arrived, we heard the same things about how the Real Madrid locker room would receive the Frenchman. Of course, Vinicius and Mbappe have been friends, though, and more to the point, we have never seen Vini fail to get along with a coach, other than Alonso. And even then, people extrapolated Vini's usual theatrics that he often does to saying that he got Alonso fired, even though there is no actual evidence of him being some sort of puppet master pulling the strings or actually having the powe to fire managers.
