If one were to name the two most successful football clubs in Europe, there's no chance a rational mind could overlook the names of Real Madrid and Bayern Munich. The two giants have won countless titles and dominated and shaped European football to a level that is indefinable, indestructible, and irreversible.
The reason behind this success? Their relentless pursuit of the top football talent in the entire world. Legends of the game, both young and old, have accumulated among Los Blancos and the Bavarians, leaving their mark on the concept of the beautiful game.
The two teams have also shared a star-studded collection of players who went on to become legends in their own clubs. There is no need to overstate the two clubs' strong cooperation when it comes to transfers and player acquisition.
Bayern Munich are interesting in young Real Madrid midfielder
Real Madrid Confidencial reports that the German club is interested in signing Real Madrid's Turkish young gun Arda Guler. The youngster is a football phenomenon that was signed by Real Madrid from Fenerbahce at the start of the 2023/24 season, despite fierce rivalry from ace rivals FC Barcelona.
However, after making 29 appearances and accruing 1082 minutes overall this season across all competitions, Guler has been finding it difficult to gain consistent playing time under Carlo Ancelotti at Madrid. The data only add up to an average of 37 minutes each appearance. These figures, while respectable for a 20-year-old, do not appear to be persuasive enough to Guler, who has previously been rumored to be considering a move rather than a loan if minutes remain limited in the coming games.
With major player Dani Ceballos already out due to injury, Ancelotti's reliance on Guler may rise. However, the odds are not yet substantial, and thinks will only appear mild if the aforementioned does not materialize.
With its midfield looking to the future, the Bavarians are claimed to have set their sights on the talent and are willing to shell out a cool 50 million euros to get him.
