Carlo Ancelotti praises Jude Bellingham for Vinicius Junior spat

Carlo Ancelotti has praised Jude Bellingham for showing courage to his Real Madrid teammate Vinicius Junior. The two were involved in an on-field spat.

Real Madrid beat Celta Vigo in La Liga over the weekend. It was a necessary win for Los Blancos, after returning from the October international break. They had to keep within touching distance of Barcelona, with an eye on El Clasico this weekend.

However, despite picking up all three points, the win wasn't the main talking point for Real Madrid. Instead, it was an on-field spat between Jude Bellingham and Vinicius Junior.

Bellingham was free for a pass in the first half but instead, Vini took the shot himself and missed. This obviously didn't sit well with Bellingham, who made his feelings clear by kicking the floor and gesturing to Vini.

According to a report by the Daily Mail, Carlo Ancelotti is not concerned with the on-field spat between Jude Bellingham and Vinicius Junior. In fact, the Italian coach did not even watch it happen but after heading about it, he praised Jude Bellingham.

In his own words, Ancelotti said: "It means that [Bellingham] has balls, character, and it seems good to me. Honestly, I didn't realise the play (had happened). I'll watch it. But if he has reacted... let's be calm, after the game they were talking, laughing. They have no problems."

Carlo Ancelotti understands that football is one of the most heated sports in the world. Particularly at Real Madrid's level, every decision is vital in a match. This team wants to win and sometimes that means tempers are flared between players. That's just football.

The Italian coach has worked with some of the best players in history. So, he knows the difference between passion and genuine hatred. Jude Bellingham and Vinicius Junior love each other and they want the best from each other.

Naturally, social media was sent into a frenzy over the weekend. Particularly rival fans want to see Real Madrid fail, so they jumped on the drama, painting it in a way that Jude Bellingham and Vinicius Junior were arguing.

However, as relayed by Carlo Ancelotti, both Real Madrid teammates were fine after the match ended. So, Real Madrid fans should take no notice of any negativity.

After all, Vinicius Junior more than made up for his poor decision making in the first half.
