Real Madrid and youngsters have a bit of a rocky history when looking at the broader picture. We've seen some youngsters at the club, whether from the academy system or brought in from elsewhere arrive at Real Madrid and go on to achieve copious amounts of success with Los Blancos. And on the other hand we've seen some youngsters have a nightmare time at Real Madrid after arriving.
One youngster who arrived at Real Madrid with incredible expectations who had had a nightmarish time with Los Blancos is Endrick. The Brazilian arrived from Palmeiras last summer for a fee that could reach as high as €60 million and got off to a decent start at the Bernabeu before everything seemed to fall apart.
The 19-year-old fell out of favor with Carlo Ancelotti and seems to be completely out of favor with Xabi Alonso which led to immense frustration from Endrick. He is determined to fight for his place at Real Madrid and has hoped the dips in form with Vinicius and Rodrygo would mean more minutes for him but unfortunately for the Brazilian, he just made his own situation even more complicated after this weekend.
Endrick just complicated his own dilemma at Real Madrid
During Real Madrid's embarrassing 2-0 home defeat to Celta Vigo, tempers flared after Alvaro Carreras' sending off and during the melee Endrick, who was on the bench also got a red card for yelling and gestures towards the officials.
This sending off means the Brazilian will be suspended for Real's weekend match against Alaves, meaning even less minutes for him before the upcoming January transfer window. This sending off could also sour the relationship between the player and the manager, as it could be viewed as irresponsible of the player from Xabi Alonso's perspective.
Endrick has only made one appearance for Real this season, with it coming in their 4-0 victory over Valencia when the game was all but settled. With the current form of the attackers outside of Kylian Mbappe, the Brazilian has been hoping to at least get a run in the starting lineup, and this upcoming match against Alaves could've been his time. After his sending off, that won't be happening.
The 19-year-old seems destined for a loan move away from Real Madrid in the upcoming January transfer window to get the regular game time he has been waiting for. Reports suggest Lyon have all but sealed a loan move for the Brazilian when the January window opens and this would be the best case for both the player and the club.
