Endrick could push to leave Real Madrid permanently if the La Liga giants aren't careful amid a report detailing his future plans. The Brazilian starlet is on loan at Lyon and has been in red-hot form.

The 19-year-old left for the French outfit on New Year's Day with a desire of more first-team opportunities. He hasn't just been handed regular game time but become the lead man under Paulo Fonseca.

Xabi Alonso rarely trusted in Endrick and he's already played more minutes in three games for Lyon then he had for Madrid this season. His remarkable start at the Groupama Stadium has seen him bag four goals and one assist including a hat-trick in a 5-2 win over Metz last weekend.

Endrick sends warning to Real Madrid

Endrick's impressive start with Lyon has led to talk over his future with reports claiming Fonseca wants the Ligue 1 club to do whatever it takes to extend his loan. He's set to return to the Estadio Bernabeu at the end of the season as things stand.

Mario Cortegana of The Athletic reports that Endrick wants a chance to show his best for Madrid next season. If he isn't given the opportunity then his entourage will consider another loan or even a loan with an option to buy.

That puts Los Blancos under pressure to start putting their faith in the Brazilian attacker and is a warning that he won't continue to accept such limited game time. He made just three appearances under Alonso amounting to 99 minutes and his only start came in a 3-2 win over Tavalera in the Copa del Rey.

Endrick joined Madrid from Brazilian side Palmeiras in the summer of 2024 for €60m. He has made 40 appearances for the club, scoring seven goals and providing one assist.

There might be a sign that Endrick will be more of a focus for Madrid next season given their higher-ups' response to his Lyon exploits. The same report claims that the club "do not understand" the lack of opportunities he was handed under Alonso.

Endrick gave a humble assessment of Alonso's departure earlier this month and insisted he had no issues with the Spanish coach. But he cut a frustrated figure on the substitutes bench which spoke volumes of his unhappiness.

If the Brazil international continues to shine at Lyon it will only further highlight that Alonso's handling of the teenager was one of his biggest failures during his short reign. While he understandably prioritised Kylian Mbappe up top, there were plenty of matches where he could have handed the youngster game time.
