When it comes to a club the size of Real Madrid, it's not unusual when players from other clubs talk about their wishes to one day grace the pitch at the Bernabeu. We've seen it before with players like Eden Hazard, Thibaut Courtois, and Kylian Mbappe, talking about their dreams of playing for Los Blancos years before arriving at the club, and now another player is dropping major hints that he one day hopes to pull on the famous all white kit.

As being reported by theMadridZone on X, Enzo Fernandez was asked about what players have impressed him the most that he has played against, and his answer won't come as a surprise to any Real Madrid fan. Enzo went on to say:

"The opponent player that impressed me the most? Toni Kroos.

It was Real Madrid vs Chelsea at the Bernabeu, and he was so impressive.

Luka Modric too."

Enzo Fernandez almost begging Real Madrid to sign him

This isn't the first time Enzo has dropped hints that he wishes to one day play for Real Madrid, just in the recent days the midfielder was on a live stream and was asked which other city he would like to live in, to which he responded Madrid given its similarities to his native Buenos Aires. The Argentine keeps dropping hints about where he hopes his future lays and is no doubt hoping Los Blancos pick up on his hints.

Luckily for Enzo he is one of the midfielders on the clubs list ahead of the summer transfer window as they continue their search for their perfect Toni Kroos replacement, with the Argentine becoming the favorite of many at the club in recent days.

The club views him as the missing link in the midfield, believeing his ball playing ability, passing range, and intesity is what has been missing in recent years and hope that partnering the Argentine with Fede Valverde, Aurelien Tchouameni, and Jude Bellingham will bring back the midfield stability we say during the days of the Kroos-Casemiro-Modric midfield trio.

One question remains, does Arbeloa want the midfielder? All signs point to Arbeloa getting the full time job in the summer, which means he will have the ability to sign players he believes fits his philosophy and it remains unknow if Enzo fits that profile. Arbeloa has found a great midfield balance playing Valverde, Tchouameni, Thiago, and Arda Guler together, and he'll now have to fit Bellingham back into that mix so adding Enzo into the mix as well could upset the balance more than it would fix it.
