Real Madrid fans are getting bombshell after bombshell dropped on their heads this summer transfer window, and president Florentino Perez offered yet another surprise, perhaps galvanized by the promise of Erling Haaland purported by his presidential challenger Enrique Riquelme.

In a televised interview, Florentino told the faithful Madridistas that he is bringing another Galactico to the club as big as Cristiano Ronaldo and Zinedine ZIdane with a bid of 150 million euros set to come through the pipeline in the coming days.

Perez said that the player is not in the Premier League and is an exciting midfielder or forward. He ruled out Erling Haaland, Michael Olise, Jeremy Doku, and Harry Kane, but pretty much everyone else is on the table - and Real Madrid are having a lot of fun trying to guess just who on earth Flo is talking about.

Florentino Perez is not taking it easy

Different reporters and insiders are having their own takes on who it could be, and Fabrizio Romano is the latest to offer information. Fab says that there are six names who are candidates to be Flo's promised Galactico signing for Real Madrid. The PSG center midfield duo of Joao Neves and Vitinha is indeed on the list, as is a duo of wingers from the back to back Champions League winners in Desire Doue and childhood Madridista Khvicha Kvaratskhelia. Rounding out the list are two more names from Champions League rivals in Atletico Madrid striker Julian Alvarez and attacking midfielder Jamal Musiala from Bayern Munich, both of whom were linked to Madrid years ago.

So there are several options Real Madrid could be going hard after, but the two that make the most sense and have been linked to Madrid the most are Vitinha and Joao Neves. They seem to be untouchable as superstars for PSG who were crucial to two Champions League titles, but since their agent is the powerful Jorge Mendes and he is now on the side of Madridistas after the pivotal Jose Mourinho reunion, Real have a fighting chance at snagging one of them.

There is no doubt that center midfield talents like either Neves or Vitinha would help Real Madrid the most out of these star players, and it is obvious that Madrid dream of a new midfield signing who can give them more control over games. But Madridistas will have to just sit back and wait and see what Perez has cooked up for them.
