No player on Real Madrid has been in the papers for transfer rumors more than Eduardo Camavinga. The left footed midfielder has played a role in two Champions League winning sides, but even though he is still only 23 years old, Real Madrid are growing frustrated with his lack of growth, development, urgency, and maturity since joining the club from Rennes in 2021.

Camavinga is a real spark in the midfield as a No. 8, but in a deeper role where he has to cover and be disciplined, he just cannot do it. And asking him to be anything other than he is makes him even worse, because he's not someone who can turn down his energy.

Real Madrid and Jose Mourinho have not told Camavinga that he is needed at the club, whereas Jose has given Fede Valverde, Jude Bellingham, and Aurelien Tchouameni massive votes of confidence, even stopping the search for a new midfielder and extending Tchou, who was wanted badly by Manchester United on the transfer market.

Manchester United are not done with Real Madrid players

Well, Man United are still after another Real Madrid player, and whether it is a desire for revenge for David Beckham and Cristiano Ronaldo, the Red Devils sure like signing Madrid players as Raphael Varane and Casemiro can attest.

According to a new report from Fabrizio Romano, Manchester United have been internally discussing Eduardo Camavinga as an option for their needs in midfield, even though they just signed two quality Premier League players in Belgian Youri Tielemans and former Chelsea prospect Andrey Santos. Fab says, though, that Man United can only sign Camavinga if he is willing to leave, and he is still, at this moment in time, not interested in exiting the Santiago Bernabeu.

Camavinga has maintained for months that he does not want to leave Real Madrid and instead wants to stay and fight for his place. While that is very admirable, Madrid would like to clear out some space and make some money, and if Jose Mourinho, whose thoughts on this topic still remain unknown, does not want him, he will be expendable.

Real Madrid fans have two things to worry about here. The first is Camavinga blocking a fruitful transfer. But the second, especially for those who want Cama to stay and love this talented young player, is that Manchester United do end up convincing the Frenchman to leave and get him to play at the highest level, one day burning Madrid badly in the Champions League if Cama fulfills his potential at Old Trafford.
