Real Madrid need top midfielders and center backs more than anything else, but we all know that the Royal White club cannot help themselves with an elite attacking option potentially becomes available to them - or even if that player is not available, if they are so good, president Florentino Perez cannot help but dream of them.
Michael Olise has been a revelation for Bayern Munich since joining Die Roten at the beginning of the 2024/25 season. He was always amazing for Crystal Palace, too, but with the stars of Bayern around him, especially world class striker Harry Kane, the Frenchman has been able to establish himself as an elite player.
This season, Olise has been especially great, and he is close to breaking Lionel Messi's vaunted single season assist record. He has been unplayable and a Ballon d'Or contender in his own right, despite being overshadowed by his teammate Kane and another great right winger in Lamine Yamal.
Bayern Munich won't sell Michael Olise
After watching Olise carve them up, Real Madrid fans are even more interested in the club making a play for the Bayern Munich superstar. But the thing is, despite their hopes, Olise is not going to be available for any price.
Speaking on his YouTube channel, transfer insider Fabrizio Romano reported that not even a record fee for Michael Olise would sway Bayern Munich to even begin to negotiate a tranfer. They have zero interest in selling Olise to Real Madrid, and they are confident that they can keep the 24 year old around for a long time.
But while Real Madrid may have to shut down their dreams of signing the ideal all around left footed right winger the have been dreaming of since somewhere around Gareth Bale's decline in 2019, Florentino Perez and the club live off the mantra of never saying never in football.
They were told the same thing by PSG about Kylian Mbappe for years, and then he ended up joining them for free. And while Mbappe was a bigger name and a bigger obsession for the club, Olise may be an even better fit, seeing as how Real already had a right footed left winger in Vinicius Junior, but their only left footers are Arda Guler and Franco Mastantuono - both are much better fits as a central playmakers without the athleticism to truly play as right wingers for a top team.
Olise is the dream target for Real Madrid fans, but, for now, Fab has made it clear that there is no chance of a steal from Bayern.
