Real Madrid are in for a major overhaul this summer. The club have drawn up and extensive list of transfer targets as they look to reshape their squad and bounce back following back-to-back trophyless seasons. The club is focusing on recruiting a new center-back and central midfielder but is also keeping their eyes on attackers, with club president Florentino Perez having his eyes on one attacker in particular, and despite being a great player, signing him wouldn't make much sense in the grand scheme of things.

As being reported by Marca, Florentino Perez views Juventus attacker Kenan Yildiz as his "dream signing" heading into the summer transfer window. In the last few seasons the 21-year-old has developed into one of the best attackers in Serie A but has gone a step further this season to stamp his claim as the best attacker in Italy. Florentino Perez believes one more star attacker is needed for the club to bounce back and has set his eyes on the Turkish international with the summer transfer window just a few short weeks away.

Florentino Perez's wildest dream that no one understands

As mentioned earlier, Yildiz has been considered one of the world's top youngsters for a few seasons, but his stand out year has put him up there with the likes of Lamine Yamal as one of the most exciting young players to watch. The Juventus star has grabbed 11 goals and 10 assists across 45 matches in all competitions this season and has by far been the star in a somewhat disappointing Juventus side this season.

Still only 21-years-old, Yildiz's career at Juventus has only just begun, and having just recently signed a new contract that runs until 2023, he won't be going anywhere anytime soon. However, the new reports goes on to state that there is a concern at Juventus about balancing finances if they fail to qualify for the Champions League next season and should they fail to qualify adjustments to the books will have to be made and no player would be considered 'untouchable' even their star attacker.

This has raised the eyebrows of Florentino Perez, who as we all know loves to sign star players when the chance arises and it seems this is no different for Yildiz. However despite Perez's admiration of the player, signing him wouldn't make any sense whatsoever. Yildiz is a natural left-winger and Real Madrid's front line already has two left-wingers with Vinicius Jr and Kylian Mbappe, forcing a third left-winger into the attacking line, which would result in two players playing out of position is a disater waiting to happen and Real Madrid already have enough disasters on their hands.

All in all there's no denying Yildiz has all the potential in the world to be one of the top attackers in the world some day but now just isn't the time to think about making a move for him. Who knows maybe in another year or two one of Vinicius or Mbappe will be gone and then a move for Yildiz would make more sense but for now, staying at Juventus is the best more for his young career.
