Real Madrid are enormous admirers of Trent Alexander Arnold, as everyone has known for months. The club sees the player as the final answer at right-back, covering the defense for the next many years.
Arnold has not had the smoothest contract discussions with his present team. Liverpool are continuously giving him extensions, but the player's intentions remain apparent. His ambition is to seek chances elsewhere.
Fabrizio Romano already hinted about Madrid's obsession with the player. He is their first and only choice. The club is enamored with Arnold and are planning to go all in to get his services.
Former English goalkeeper says Trent deal is done
The current trend in the news around this potential transfer suggests that the player has consistently refused a contract renewal at Liverpool and wishes to prepare for a move to Madrid at the appropriate moment. However, a fresh huge update from a former player has pushed the narrative even farther.
According to former England goalkeeper Paul Robinson, who talked on Football Insider's Inside Track podcast, the player has already reached a deal with Los Blancos, which has been kept under wraps since.
According to the former player, Real Madrid and Trent Alexander Arnold signed an agreement during the January transfer window. He clarified that everything is presently being meticulously hidden and that the transfer deal has already been completed.
He said, "I spent time in Madrid when we covered the Real Madrid v Man City game, and speaking to sources, they’re convinced Trent signed a pre-contract in January. It hasn’t been made public knowledge yet, but the word in Madrid is they are 100 per cent sure that he has signed a deal."
Whatever the issue with Trent, it is clear that he is more out of Liverpool than in. Los Blancos are definitely enamored with his work and regard him as a viable answer to their right-back problems. As things stand, he is extremely likely to join Real Madrid next season and strengthen the defensive lineup.
